Industry Innovators Programme is a flexible eight-lesson course designed to offer learners opportunities to understand the practical application of meta-skills in the real world. This saw collaborations with businesses including House of NAF!, Mossgiel Farm, and Story Shop. Each lesson, co-designed with an entrepreneurial business, poses a challenge along with content from the entrepreneurs to highlight how they use these skills in their daily lives. Available as a free resource to Gen+ schools, teachers can create their own tailored programme based on the needs and interests of their learners.
From coffee and fashion to architecture, interior design, food, and technology, pupils are introduced to inspiring professionals, each highlighting the meta-skills needed to succeed in their fields — excellently aligning with the DYW strategy of preparing learners for their future pathways and the transition into the world of work. This is Gen+ at its most dynamic and future-facing — connecting skills to real-world opportunities and aspirations.
