Why this award?
13 to 19? Join The Prince’s Trust Achieve programme and have fun, gain confidence, get the skills you need for a job or training, plus get a qualification valued by employers.
On the Achieve course you will:
Try something different: Have fun and try new activities such as building a robot, kayaking or making a video
Get ready for the world of work: Gain a qualification valued by colleges and employers, create a stand-out CV, practice for future interviews and explore your skills
Gain life skills: Through fun and practical sessions, learn how to manage money, be healthy and stay safe
Take part in a community project: Make a difference to your local area by working as a part of a team
Run an enterprise project: Experience what it takes to run a business and think about your career options
Who is it for?
Young people aged 13 to 19. Achieve runs in schools and in Prince’s Trust Centres. If you have left school can you still join the programme through a Prince’s Trust Centre.
What time commitment is required?
Achieve runs in schools and Prince’s Trust Centres. The course can be from one or two years, or as little as six weeks – depends on what is right for you and your group.

Is the award externally accredited?
Taking part in the Achieve programme means you can gain a Prince’s Trust Award in Personal Development and Employability (PDE) qualification at SCQF levels 3, 4 and 5. The award recognises a variety of personal skills, qualities and attitudes required by employers across a range of sectors. It is SQA accredited in Scotland.
